Holiday Greetings! The Ashanti Farm Team would like to wish all our clients, customers, vendors and visitors of our website HAPPY HOLIDAYS and A PROSPEROUS YEAR 2002! Ashanti Merchandise An order form for various Ashanti Farm merchandise is now available. New Photos Online! New photos of Ashanti Farm facilities are now online. Horses for sale! Ashanti Farm is proud to offer several horses for sale. Delacroix Delacroix is in training for this years show circuit. We are planning to have him compete in Grand Prix later this year in Virginia. Delacroix is shown here be ridden by Jennifer, a rider and trainer at Ashanti Farm. Exupery Exupery, ridden by Patricia Kottas, has started his 2001 Competition year in a grant way. In his 1st competition in April he scored 66.58% in FEI Young Riders; 65,25% in PSG and 63,83% in Inter 1 at Gut Sonnenhof near Vienna. In his 2nd competition in May he scored 68,71% in FEI Young Riders and 65,75% in PSG at Suessenbrunn/Austria. Carreras Carreras, ridden by Caroline Kottas placed 4th in Prix St. Georges with a score of 68.85% and 3rd in Intermediere 1 with a score of 67.33% at the CDI Ebreichsdorf in Austria from April 21-23, 2000. Caroline and Carreras again won the Bronze Medal with the Austrian Team, reaching a score of 68.34%, at the European Junior Riders Dressage Championships in Lipica/Slovenia from 15th to 20th of August 2000. In their individual test they reached 8th place with a score of 66.97. We congratulate both of you. We are very proud to have Caroline on our Team. Congratulations also to Arthur Kottas, who trains horse and rider so excellently. New Photo's of Carreras, ridden and trained by Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg are now online! Kingdom and Acteur Kingdom, ridden by Patricia Kottas, also started his 2001 competition year very successful indeed. In his 1st competition in April he scored 65,98% in FEI Young Riders; 64,50% in PSG and 63% in Inter 1 at Sonnenhof/Austria. In May he scored 61,88% in FEI Young Riders and 65,75% in PSG at Suessenbrunn/Austria. Acteur, ridden by Dana, also started his 2001 competition year in a way we didn't expect. In his 1st competition in May he scored 70% in Class L; 64% in Class L and 73% in Class L at Suessenbrunn/Austria It was Acteur's 1st competition since we purchased him and we are extremely pound of him. Congratulations to Arthur, Caroline and Patricia, who do an incredible job in training and riding to transform our horses into top performers. We are proud of you guys. New photos of Kingdom & Acteur, ridden and trained by Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg are now online! In addition, new photos of Acteur, ridden by Dana, are now online too. Liberty Liberty might become another addition for the Ashanti Team in Austria. He is an Austrian Warmblood, 7 years old and has already lots of "M" (medium advanced) success. He is an approved Stallion. Arthur has him now for the 3rd year. His father is the Stallion "Literat", a German Stallion. Derringer Derringer is being trained and we may consider showing Derringer in 2001 in Prix St. George and Intermediere I in Virginia. Look for Derringer in the 2001 Hanoverian Stallion Book. News about Derringer will be updated on this web site frequently. Fresh Semen will be available in the 2001-breeding season. The 2001 breeding contract for Derringer is now available. Schindelhof "Schindelhof", Evelyn Haim/Swarovski's breeding farm in Austria (photo to right) was Riviera's, Alfa Romea's and Prima Ballerina's home. Evelyn breeds the finest Austrian Warmblood Horses for Dressage and Jumping. Schindelhof is also the home of the young Stallion "Weinkoenig". Weinkoenig is a son of "Weltmeier", the famous Dressage Stallion. Our filly, Windsong, is a daughter to Weinkoenig. Should you be interested in dressage and/or jumping horses from Austria, please send inquiries to Ashanti Farm, Inc. News George Michael has left AFI Mid October. We have hired Jennifer Hatch as the new rider/trainer at AFI. Jennifer trained with Michael Kierkegaard prior to her employment at European Performance Horses LLC, where she worked for the past 4 years. Jennifer is a young, very talented and ambitious rider with a lot of potential. She is currently trained by Gabriele, the owner of AFI and will also receive training from Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg. Jennifer's goal is to start showing in 2002 at Prix St George Level. New Services AF Inc. is exited to announce that the following services are available: Boarding and training to a limited number of clients Dressage riding instructions from basic horsemanship to Grand Prix Level Some Lesson Horses are available Riding clinic's with Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg (next clinic date will be announced on our Website) AF Inc. bred horses for sale as well as horses trained by Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg. In addition, AF Inc. offers selected European bred horses for sale Consulting Services for animal nutrition & care; Farm Management; Farm design and development Arthur Kottas developed and endorsed equipment and videos are now available for purchase through AFI. Please check out our pricelist and order form Please contact AF Inc. for details. Upcoming Events On December 16, 2001 we have invited the local Pony Club to spend a day at AFI. Lots of activities, such as touring the facilities, lounging and riding demonstrations, showing of our young horses and free AFI T-Shirts for the kids and soft drinks are offered. We've added new photos of Derringer and we've been contacting people who have bred to Derringer in the past so that we might place some more photos of his offspring on the site. Ashanti Farm is growing day by day and developing into a center dedicated to the well being of the horse and enlightenment of horse people. We hope that we will meet you some day at Ashanti Farm.
