Ashanti Merchandise An order form for various Ashanti Farm merchandise is now available. We are currently preparing an "online" Ashanti Farm Tack & Video Shop, which should go online later this month. Thank you for your patience. New Photos Online! New photos of Ashanti Farm facilities are now online. Horses for sale! Ashanti Farm is proud to offer several horses for sale. We have engaged in a partnership with an old friend in Europe and are currently selecting fine horses worldwide. At the same time, we are preparing a new "Horse for Sale" page. Please visit our Web site often to see how Ashanti Farm is growing day by day. Delacroix Delacroix, ridden by Jennifer Hatch has started his show season with a "BANG"! In His first show appearance since 1998, Delacroix placed 1^st in PSG with a score of 69.25% on Saturday, April 13, 2002 and 2^nd with a score of 67.50% on Sunday, April 14, 2002 and won the High Score award as well at Morven Park (Leesburg, VA). On June 22 & 23 Jennifer took Delacroix to Morven Park (Leesburg, VA) where they placed 1st in the musical freestyle with a score of 71.7% and 3rd in Intermediate 1 with a score of 67.5%. We are very proud of the team Delacroix/Jennifer. Congratulations! The Virginia Celebrity Freestyle: A Celebration of Music and Movement The hotly contested Intermediare, with seven riders, was won by Jennifer Hatch on Ashanti Farm's Delacroix, 68.95% on a ride designed to Broadway music by Barbara Gardener. Exupery Exupery, ridden by Caroline Kottas, won a young rider show on April 27th, 2002 and April 28th, 2002 in Kottingbrunn, near Vienna, Austria with high scores of over 73% on Saturday and over 72% on Sunday. Congratulations! They were the stars of the weekend. Carreras Carreras, also ridden by Caroline Kottas is being trained for Grand Prix and will be shown in international competitions later this year. We are very proud to have Caroline on our Team. Congratulations also to Arthur Kottas, who trains horse and rider so excellently. New Photo's of Carreras, ridden and trained by Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg are now online! Kingdom and Acteur Kingdom is currently in training in Verden. We decided to bring him home in May of 2002. We will use him as a school horse for Gabriele and a few selected clients. Acteur was donated to the International Academy of Equestrian Studies in April of 2002. New photos of Kingdom & Acteur, ridden and trained by Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg are now online! In addition, new photos of Acteur, ridden by Dana, are now online too. Liberty Liberty might become another addition for the Ashanti Team in Austria. He is an Austrian Warmblood, 7 years old and has already lots of "M" (medium advanced) success. He is an approved Stallion. Arthur has him now for the 3rd year. His father is the Stallion "Literat", a German Stallion. Derringer Derringer is being trained and we may consider showing Derringer in 2001 in Prix St. George and Intermediere I in Virginia. Look for Derringer in the 2001 Hanoverian Stallion Book. News about Derringer will be updated on this web site frequently. Fresh Semen will be available in the 2002-breeding season. The 2002 breeding contract for Derringer is now available. Schindelhof "Schindelhof", Evelyn Haim/Swarovski's breeding farm in Austria (photo to right) was Riviera's, Alfa Romea's and Prima Ballerina's home. Evelyn breeds the finest Austrian Warmblood Horses for Dressage and Jumping. Schindelhof is also the home of the young Stallion "Weinkoenig". Weinkoenig is a son of "Weltmeier", the famous Dressage Stallion. Our filly, Windsong, is a daughter to Weinkoenig. New Services AF Inc. is exited to announce that the following services are available: Boarding and training to a limited number of clients Dressage riding instructions from basic horsemanship to Grand Prix Level Some Lesson Horses are available Riding clinic's with Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg (next clinic date will be announced on our Website) AF Inc. bred horses for sale as well as horses trained by Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg. In addition, AF Inc. offers selected European bred horses for sale Consulting Services for animal nutrition & care; Farm Management; Farm design and development Arthur Kottas developed and endorsed equipment and videos are now available for purchase through AFI. Upcoming Events We have scheduled a clinic with Mr. Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg to be held at AFI on August 9, 10 & 11, 2002. If you are interested in participating, please contact AFI. We will announce the prices for riders and auditors in April on our Website. Be sure and browse our web site. We've added new photos of Derringer and we've been contacting people who have bred to Derringer in the past so that we might place some more photos of his offspring on the site. Ashanti Farm is growing day by day and developing into a center dedicated to the well being of the horse and enlightenment of horse people. We hope that we will meet you some day at Ashanti Farm.
